In May of 2021, my father, Roy Levinson (z”l) died of pancreatic cancer. A larger-than-life character, lovingly called “Dr. Perfect” by his colleagues, my dad is a difficult person to lose for so many. This series of audio dedications is how I preserve his legacy.

This is a preview of a compilation of audio shorts about my dad, Dr. Roy Levinson. These pieces will be a dedication to him and his life told through the voices of people who knew him and loved him, plus archival sounds including his own voice from the many, many home videos my dad took during my childhood.

Barukh Dayan Ha'emet, Reuven Melech ben Esther Baleh and Yitzchak Laeb, AKA Dr. Perfect.

My dad was so many things to so many people. He was everyone’s doctor. He was the t-ball coach, the star of the play, the stand-in chazan, the instigator, the prankster. In his memory, my cousin Maddie tells a story that gets to the heart of so much of who he was.
